Fyre Festival Organizer Sentenced to Six Years in Prison for Fraud
If you remember the Fyre Festival – the Burning Man-esque pilgrimage/concert/experience in the Bahamas that was promised to people back in 2017 – or you actually were going to the disastrous experience, this might serve as some closure. Billy McFarland, the organizer of the Fyre Festival, has been sentenced to prison for fraud and will have to part with millions of dollars. More on the story here:
